Can at 5%. Clear pale straw colour, brief fizzy head. Aroma of pear skins, some sugars but not overly sweet. Its slightly syrupy but has a reasonable fruity pear taste with a mild tartness in the finish. Again not overly sweet thankfully. Very basic but pleasant and rather good for the price which is unusual for Aston Manor.

Sample thanks to grumbo. Pours a disconcertingly pale clear greenish colour. Aroma is sweet bubblegum and artificial apple sweets. Taste continues. Awful.

17/2/2021. Well worn can from Tesco's reduced shelf. As Tesco Pear Cider 5%. Pours fizzy extremely pale gold with a short lasting bubbly white head. Aroma of tinned pears, a little solvent and cheese. Medium plus sweetness and light sour. Moderate body, sticky texture, fizzy carbonation. No better than I expected.

440ml can courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! As Tesco Pear Cider 5%. Very pale yellow colour, fizzy white foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of sulphur, pear, sweaty socks. Taste is sweet, artificial pear flavour, with sulphury & chemical notes. Medium bodied, medium to high carbonation, sweet finish. Not good.

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for sharing. very sweetish and artificial beginning. Easy to drink, refreshing though, but lots of artificial sweetness and no depth.

33cl bottle from a Tesco in Poland. A clear pale yellow colour, no head. Aroma of moderate sweet pear and some sweet apples. Taste of sweet pears and apples, soft tart fruits, lemonade, boring!

Can courtesy of Haydn and Carol, at village hall setting up marquees, Thursday 29th June 2017 Not sure if this was the same as it is 5% and tasted ok, it wasn’t artificially sweet, it wasn’t plasticy, it was was just a fine enough perry, a reasonable pear bite, little zip around the gums, it was ok.
