Kingdom is introducing its second product; “Dark Lager”. The beer’s darkness is the result of the use of roasted malts. The taste includes a mild sweetness from caramel.

330mL bottle, pours a clear chestnut brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out vegetal notes, toasted nuts, and perfume. Flavour is no more pleasant, with toasted nuts, a floral character and some vegetal notes. Light and weak - this is a useless, uncoordinated beer. Bad.

The Pigs Ear wrap up tasting at ChrisO’s. Clear deep amber beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light, semi dry and has modest fine carbonation. Papery and thin dark malts. Mild caramel. A touch of tangy fruits. Light crispy dry papery finish. Not awful.

Bottle shared at the chriso and Ruth pre-Christmas / post-Pigs Ear holiday tasting of 2015 - London. Cheers to Daniel for this gem! Pours clear brown with a creamy, off-white head. The nose holds dry brown bread, light cardboard. Medium sweet flavor with sugary bread, light brown sugar, no hops. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sugary finish with more brown bread, some caramel. Sweet and simple.
