Riktigt gott.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - pours dark amber with a nice full puffy off-white head. Aroma and taste is a mix of medium to high sweet malts and dark dried furit, treacle and caramel, some spices into the finish. Very nice.

Tasting at Maakuns. Merry Christmas! Typisch kerstbier, wel lekker maar niet de moeite van een enorme beschrijving waard op dit moment. Backlog from 2015/02/03.

Sample at YNWA Beershop. Murky dark brown, no head on my sample. Aroma has cocoa, caramel and dried fruit. Similar flavour, sweetish, light syrup feel but still with good bitterness. Smooth with well balanced ABV. Good christmas beer.

750ml bottle. Per se clear, ruby red glowing, brown colour with lots of floating chunks and small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish toffee aroma, a touch of marzipan and raisin. Taste is slightly sweet malty, some toffee, fruity hints of raisin, some spiciness, a cinnamon touch; dry finish. Rather insignificant.

Bottle. Dark brown with fast disappearing light beige head. Brown sugar, lots of spices, banana bread, yeast, dried plums, marmalade, wine gums. Very sweet with light roasted bitter finish and quite some alcohol. Medium to full bodied. I'll never be a fan of Christmas beers but this is not bad. Still not the best Des Rocs. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Hazy, dark red. Thin, lasting, tan head. Looks fantastic in a Delirium Noel glass. Brown sugar. Light, grassy hop. Dark, vinous fruit. Hazelnuts. Bit of vanilla. Taste is sweet. Turns roasty dry. Nice, soft, smooth, airy palate. Finishes fruity sweet. Toasty dry close. Very nice, but too much on the sweet side to warrant a big rate.
