Draught as part of a paddle at Yardarm Taphouse, Sydney, on October 12, 2015.Malty, fruity, alcohol taste. Bitter, resin aftertaste. Medium a bit fizzy mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Clear deep golden color, off-white head with lacing. Malty, fruity, tutti frutti scent.

From a 330ml bottle on 14/7/2015. Pours a clear deep golden with a small head. Has a nice aroma with floral, fruity and herbal notes. In the mouth, there’s biscuity and caramel malt, a hefty dose of sweet stone fruit (apricot and peach), and some spice at the back. The bitterness is firm without being over the top. The texture is slick and chewy with average carbonation. I really like this. Not particularly US or English in style, it’s very tasty and drinks very easily for 7.7%.

330ml bottle into pint glass. Floral hop nose, some spicy notes too. Cloudy copper beer with thin off-white head. Beautiful bitter taste with excellent body. Finish is hoppy and short. Great beer, hides its 7.7% well. Gimme another!

330ml bottle. Pours a darkish orange amber colour, frothy foam off-white head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of malt, spice, orange, tropical fruits, yeast. Taste is malt caramel with grapefruit, woody pine notes and an earthy spicy bitterness. Slightly oily mouth feel, medium bodied, medium carbonation, warming dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable IPA.

Bottle (thanks to MrKennedy). Amber with a large white head. Aroma of kumquats, toffee, dried peach and mango, galangal. Full bodied, carbonation is quite high. Peach and caramel sweetness, dusty tropical fruit notes, citrus tends towards grapefruit, Indian accented spices. Dryish at the end with a little less bitterness than I’d like. Hearty and full of character. Identifiably Australian.
