Reasonable Aussie effort at a pilsener. Bit of that saaz hops flavor coming through.

Same macro-grainy character as the lager and light. Touch of hop - saazy - and that helps it along

330ml bottle. Golden amber colour, white foam head and aroma of malt, grassy. Taste is sweet malty, hay, grassy bitterness. Crisp, light bodied, medium carbonation, some residual sweetness, dry finish. OK.

Bottle. Gold with a loosish inch of white head. Fine bead. Aroma is a little sharp with citrus and grass, some spice. Taste has a very little sweet grainy malt, a touch of cardboard and the rather harsh bitterness that seems a bit artificial. Slightly slick mouthfeel, but didn’t pick up anything in the taste or aroma. Crisp I guess but not very inviting - pretty much nothing to it until the bitterness at the end. Unbalanced but at least it’s not bland.

Draught. Straw colour with white head. Subtle floral aroma. Light body, medium carbonation. Good hop flavour giving floral notes and bitterness. A nice pilsener.

Bottle. Lightly perfumy aroma - floral hop? Slightly orange gold color with a white head that did not last. Near medium body with near creamy carbonation. The flavor is floral/fruity with a touch of likely noble hop bitter. It’s crisp. It’s clean. Finish is dry and lightly bitter. Very drinkable. Bitter builds up a bit.

330 ml bottle poured into a flute-like Grolsch glass. Pours with a medium head and a dark yellow, slightly orangish color, completely lucid with visible carbonation. Just clear its as water. Aroma is macro corn at first, then a light bready maltiness underneath that and a faint muted citrus. Taste is not that bad actually, again macro-sih corn. Then there is a white Wonder Bread flavor and a decent cheap biscuit maltiness. Very light and quaffable, wont return but not as bad as I thought it would be. Finish is low in bitterness, clean, and again light Wonder Bread.

Bottle at Battersea Beer Festival 2006. Brought all the way around the world by Duff just for us to share. What a top bloke. Golden colour with lasting white head. Pilsener aroma which is a bit sickly. Bit of butter and good carbonation, if a little cardboardy.

Bottled. Clear deep golden, small head. Grassy hop aroma. Dry and crisp with rounded mouthfeel. Somewhat grainy with lingering grassy finish. A refreshing "real" pilsener that by far exceeded my low expectations.
