An interpretation of a classic style. It has a pale bronze colour and an exceptionally full-bodied complex character with a spicy and peppery aroma. Generous quantities of premium Cascade, Simcoe, Centennial and Mount Hood hops give this Pale Ale its fragrant bouquet with a fruity, malty and spicy flavour.

Cask at Pie and Ale - Manchester. Pours clear, shiny gold with a thick, creamy off-white head. The nose holds pale bread and ripening berries. Light to medium sweet flavor with some creamy malts, more berries, maybe strawberry, light bitter hay, pale bread, citrus. Light bodied with fine carbonation and creamy texture, nicely balanced on the finish, with lots of fruity hops, simple bready pale malts, low bitterness. Very drinkable stuff. Fun.

Cask at Three Tuns Dronfield - Lovely crystal clear golden body, thick white top. Nose is lots of rich malt and caramel. Taste is aided by a lovely rounded mouthfeel, leaving a nice warming feeling that you’d expect from a higher ABV. Superb.

Cask at the Oakford Social Club, Reading. Amber with a moderate off-white head. Light pine upfront soon fades, then a slight grapefruit sourness fails to work with the growing fake caramel flavour. Tastes like a very low-grade budget APA. Not great at all, had hoped for better.

Bottle. Courtesy of Button. Cheers kid. Clear amber. Film of white head. Lots of toffee, caramel malts. Some dull, fruity hop. Taste is sweet. Palate is thick. Very little hop character. Label states generous amounts of Cascade, Simcoe, and Centennial have gone into this. You wouldn’t know it, to be honest.

Cask gravity at the Watford beer fest 2014. Pale golden coloured lasting halo of white head. Aroma is tired grassy citrus hop, bit stale and cheesey. Flavour is semi sweet nurty malts, some citrus fruits, hedgerow berry. Palate is medium light body a decent cask condition. Bit rough bitterness lingers.

Cask - Grapefruit and citrus hops with some caramel. Clearish gold with a rich beige head. Bright citrus bitterness and peel, with some orange. Quite bright and nice for a cask.
