Pale gold with a gentle citrus fruit aroma. The taste is citrus and gentle fruitiness, moving into a tartish citrus slightly dry finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Wenlock Arms, 21/8/2015. Golden in colour, with a thin, white, head. Aroma of grapefruit and tangerine, with some grassy hops. Flavour had plenty more fruit, some biscuity malts, leading to a dryish finish. Good.

Bottle from Valhalla’s Goat. Hazy golden body with (despite a fairly aggressive pour) a very thin white head. Flat carbonation. Light lacing. Weak aroma of straw, grapefruit and a hint of metal. Flavour of lemon, orange and yeast. Medium body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Faint carbonation prickle. I generally like this brewery’s beers but this one doesn’t quite hit the mark for me. Although it’s very refreshing, it’s a bit thin and weak. This bottle was 4.0% ABV.
