Nanny Ogg’s Scumble is crafted in the Lancre marshes using a closely guarded receipe handed down through Ogg family generations. It contains mostly apples.

Brewed using the Lancre Blackheart apple (similar to the roundworld Russet and Cox apples) and an exotic mixture of secret ingredients, Nanny Ogg’s Scumble has the subtle taste of oak floorboards and the aroma of melting butter.

The juice is pressed from the fruit and allowed to naturally ferment with its own yeast and sugars for over 6 months.

Medium dry to the taste, “golden straw” in colour and suitable for vegetarians and coeliacs

WARNING: If at all possible avoid bringing Scumble into contact with water. If used for cleaning cutlery, one thimbleful of Scumble should be diluted in a bucket of water for best results, and to avoid dissolving the forks.

Always drink sensibly – do not allow Nanny Ogg’s Scumble to touch the lips or other sensitive areas.

Bottle courtesy of Alec, many thanks Alec consumed at home cooking Taj Anna loving wari gosht (Cinnamon Lamb Curry) and Ambli anna mudh wari murghi (Roasted Tamarind Chicken with Honey and Red Chilli) at home Sunday 30th October 2016 Looks like a lemon water, transparent. This is beyond vile, it’s a shocker, smells like nail varnish but sadly tastes like it as well and a glueyness, one mouthful and then a drainpour. A3 A4 T2 P1 Ov6 1.6

330ml bottle from ABM. Pours yellow with a slight haze. Fair carbonation. Thin, sulphuric aroma. Taste is rather sweet & a touch sharp with green apple and an acidic, dry finish. Not my go-to cider style I have to say.
