Bag in a box at County Hotel Ashford JDW. first drink of the day after a hoolie yesterday so interested to see if my body still tolerates alcohol. Clear ribena colour a few pink bubbles. Some apple juice character with some blackcurrant ribena flavour. Not overly sweet. Fridge cold. It’s a drinkable alcopop.

Box @ Shrewsbury Hotel, Shrewsbury. Pours vivid purpley pink. Deep berry aroma. Taste is slick, clean sloeberries, very mild apple presence. Syrupy fruit juice in character. One dimensional.

BIAB at William Stead JDW Darlington. Reddish colour, no head and aroma of berry & spice. Taste is fruity & tart apple, apple skin, along with a tangy berry note. Slightly syrupy mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, low carbonation, dry lightly tannic finish. Quite drinkable.
