Box @ Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Hazy yellow coloured cider. It’s very sweet tasting with its apple, with a very drinkable texture, although not overly potent.

Bag-in-a-box at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Last fest cider I had was served almost lukewarm; this one is stupidly cold Sort it out please Mr Martin! Hazy deep gold with a light effervescence Sweet and appley up front, paint stripper and emulsion come through. And some peach and almond. Light spice too. Some dryness in the finish, and a surprisingly pleasant aftertaste of juicy apple and vanilla. Weird one this. Certainly full-flavoured, but I don’t like some of the flavours. Enjoyed it at times, disliked it at others. Overall slightly more likes than dislikes- but only just.

Bag in a box @ Stable Birmingham. Pours cloudy yellow. Musty apple aroma. Taste is smooth with a lightly sweet fruit character, a bit musty with a tangy finish. Ok.
