Brewed between 2013 and 2019. 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... Lift off, we have lift of the Westerham Hop Rocket IPA! This scrummy number is made using Maris Otter Pale Ale Malt along with a litany of hops, including Goldings, First Gold, Fuggles, Bramling Cross and Progress hops. It's also given a dry-hopping for more tasty, bitter hop notes.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from Caps & Taps. Pours mostly clear, deep gold with a rich, frothy white head. The aroma holds some leafy hops, ripening citrus, basic pale malts, orange rind. Medium sweet flavor with more citrus character, slight marmalade, mellow grass and hay and leaves, touches of rind, berry, white grape. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Somewhat simple but relatively well balanced on the finish, with further touches of citrus fruits, bready malts, mild bitterness. OK.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orangey golden colour with small to average, frothy, fluffy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma has notes of gooseberry, biscuity malty basis. Taste is minimally sweet, biscuity malty, fruity hoppy overtones, hints of gooseberry, apricot; slightly bitter, minimally chalky finish. Nicely balanced, modern reinterpretation delivers typical, classical English (if not Kentish) Pale Ale profile (biscuit and gooseberry).
