50cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. An attractive golden chestnut colour with a trace of beige head; fruity aroma, but not noticeably raspberry; sweet malty raspberry taste with some light spice; and a pleasant dry fruity finish with some warming spice. A very drinkable winter ale.

500ml bottle from the Durham Brewery shop. Dark ruby amber colour, beige creamy foam head and aroma of malt, hint of chocolate, berries, biscuit. Taste is bready malt, some biscuit with fruity, juicy berry notes and earthy slightly metallic bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.
