Yeah so bottled. Golden pour. Weird rank smell of sour apples. Appreciate the effort but.

Notes from 4/20/2008. 3.65/5 rDev +18.9% look: 3.5 - smell: 3.5 - taste: 4 - feel: 3 - overall: 3.5 This might have been on sale. I can't remember where it came from or if someone brought it over. Hiding in the fridge behind many things that should have been thrown out by now, it's time to start playing the guessing game & get down to some overdue spring cleaning. ... Well damn, the bottle says best by 2009. There goes my will to clean anything soon. Still feel like a drink though. :) Pours out a hazy straw color with a very strong soda-like fizz coming off as the head develops. Fumes of ethanol, lemon-honey, & something a lot like hard cider. Flavors are just macerated in alcohol & honey. The 8.5% content feels more like 12%. Light clove, white bread, apple & lemon peels, apricot, & a dry woody/grainy finish closing things out. The alcohol is big distraction, but the mouthfeel is very mellow, & helps distract just slightly from the harshness. The carbonation is low, but I feel it suits the taste just fine. After researching the price, I don't think this one is coming back too soon. Though regardless if it's a gluten-free beer or not, just as a beer, it's pretty good. :)

12oz can from HalfTime. Golden pour with thick fluffy head, looks good so far. Aroma is apples and white wine (?), very sweet. Taste brings in notes of sourdough, then reverts to the heavy apple flavors as indicated by the aroma, plum notes too. Can dates do not indicate it being past date. Except for the appearance, there is not much Tripel here.

500ml bottle. Pours a hazy gold amber with a medium, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves thick patches of lace. Sweet aroma of sorghum, red apple, honey and floral hops. Sweet flavour of buckwheat, candi sugar, plum and floral hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with a watery to oily texture and average carbonation. Surprised at some of the low ratings. Not great, but good for what it is.

Bottled (Green's Triple Ale, from Alko webshop). Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is cardboard, alcohol, some floral and grainy notes. Flavour is rather sweet alcohol with some plum and mild sweet malts.

Bottle from somewhere: bubbly gold with fizzy white head. Apple juice aroma. Sweet apple juice taste. This is like a shoddy high boost golden ale. I did not get a tripel feel from it.

Off white rocky head soon left flotsam on a hazy light copper coloured, finely carbonated body. Minimal aroma of citrus & saccharin. Medium bodied, highly effervescent with cloying back. Tinned fruit juices, orange, sweet citrus & cordial tastes. Pretty poor stuff

Bottled 330ml (Alko web)
Deep golden colour, small-medium-sized white head. Light honeyish, a bit papery and alcoholic aroma. Medium-bodied. Fizzy. Flavour has also honeyish sweetness, some alcohol, light spices. Tolerable gluten free tripel although not anything to have another bottle.

330ml bottle. As Green's triple ale. Golden colour, white foam head leaving some lacing and aroma of cola, caramel, fudge. Taste is sweet, earthy grain, yeast extract, vegetal, some caramel and bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, tangy finish. OK.

Hooray for power! 500-ml Bottle from World Market. Pours golden with a small off-white head. Aroma is slightly sour apple, sorghum. Flavor is very weird... I guess that's the sorghum giving it this odd flavor, along with rotten apple, rubbing alcohol, yeast, grass. I'd never drink this again.
