500 ml bottle into chalice, best before 9/30/2018. Pours lightly hazy orange/amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense and flufy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, orange, apricot, pear, apple, white grape, pepper, light banana/clove, honey, biscuit, herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, bready maltiness, and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, apricot, pear, apple, white grape, pepper, light banana/clove/bubblegum, honey, biscuit, herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness. Moderate amount of herbal bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange, apricot, pear, apple, white grape, pepper, light banana/clove/bubblegum, honey, biscuit, herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, bready maltiness, and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitter/spiciness that increases through the glass slightly. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth and moderately grainy/creamy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good gluten free tripel style. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, bready maltiness, and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A bit sweeter than expected, but still provides enough dryness to never be cloying. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle thanks to a gluten intolerant friend. Pours light amber with a huge super-fizzy off-white head that dissipates almost instantly leaving a network of huge foamy bubbles in the glass and oddly clumpy lacing. Aroma is yeast, fruit, lemon, windex. Flavor is quite sweet, spicy and oddly astringent, yeasty. Lemony rye-spice aftertaste. Medium body.

500 ml Bottle for review from Louis Glunz. Well, no one will be fooled into thinking this is a Tripel, it’s a gluten-free beer, after all, but points for making a GF beer in a style that might accept some candy tastes. So this one actually pours a little darker than a true Tripel. Another fizzly head, but this is just a trifle closer to the style. Smell is pretty light, with a hint of sweetness over everything else. Taste is missing the cidery sourness of other GF beers until the glass gets much warmer. Instead, the sweetness of a Tripel stands in. My nose finds no off notes as it goes further into the glass. I do get a bit of sour as I fill my glass a second time, and it cannot be imagined to be the same as any Belgian beer funk. This is probably the highest-abv GF beer I’ve noticed, and the alcohol becomes apparent only later in the bottle. At least there’s one GF beer out there that would get me buzzed if it were my only option. My 100th Belgian beer rating!

Pours gold into a Sam glass. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Sweet and sour summer fruit aromas. Sharp, sour millet with a lasting sour hay finish.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a trappist glass. Pours a clear light orange with small off-white head. Highly carbonation, medium body, lots of lacing, and a little warming. Taste is light fruit, some herbal, and some candy sugar. So the taste is light, it is pretty good, and way underrated.

Bottle @ Linville’s Poquoson: Lemon and lime nose, sweet with subtle apple notes. It smells pretty much like Sprite. Clear amber, thick puffy white head, good lacing. Green apple and fusel alcohol flavor. Thin, yet hot. Artificial chemical flavor remains on the palate. Drinks like a poorly made cider.

bottle - Pours cloudy gold and smells of fruity Belgian yeast. It tastes sweet with a slightly dry finish. The carbonation is fairly lively and the body light to medium. It’s got the sugary character I’ve found in other gluten frees though not as bad.

Bottle at Sunswick Belgian Beer Festival, 2010. Pours a hazy gold, very bubbly, with a creamy white head. Fairly sweet aroma with some prominent apple notes. Sweet flavor, cider-esque, boozy. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Finishes with some Tripel essence. Lightly tart and funky. It is hard to measure this against "regular" Tripels. Against other gluten-free stuff this ain’t bad.

500 ml bottle. Aroma is medicinal, tart. Pours hazy yellow with a medium head which dissipates just a bit, leaving a layer of foam on top of the beer. Taste is sour. Nice aftertaste. High carbonation. Much better than the Endeavour.

Half liter bottle pours hazy gold – apricot with copper core and very brief white head. The aroma is full of apple fruitiness, a light amount of spice, chemical earthiness (what?) and an odd note I can only characterize as sliptelbuzzin. The taste is surprisingly smooth to start with cider, some pears, grapes and a white wine note note. It goes down hill from there as it gets an odd sugary, brown rice, earthy, chemical and sliptelbuzzin sensation. I didn’t want to finish it.
