Bag in a box, POW, Farnborough. Vague vinegar sour aroma. Pale yellow gold. No head. Light sweetness before building up a sour syrupy finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Sticky on the lips. Flat carb. Long finish. OK. The sourness is bordering on cooking vinegar.

Box @ The Wheatsheaf Beer Festival, Shrewsbury. Pours a hazy pale gold, persistent bubbles. Aroma is exotic with some apple and pineapple. Taste presents some exotic fruits alongside richly sweet perry pears, and pineapple. Nice.

Box @ North London Tavern, Kilburn, London. Hazy, very pale yellow perry with a surprisingly soft, easy-drinking texture for its strength. It’s a little like fruit juice in this case respect, although is clearly not so in its taste as it’s alcohol content is very obvious here. Its fruitiness is light tasting, dry bitter-sweet, with some in its nose.
