Bottle from the Courtyard Dairy as part of their virtual cheese and cider tasting; labelled as Wild Ferment Sparkling Dry Cider. Lightly hazed pale yellow; quite fizzy. A little funky barnyard up front. Unripe granny Smith apples, Russet apple skins and some spice. A little watery. Quite dry, with some sourness. The sourness makes this a little different; I was unsure if I liked it at first but it grew on me. Lightly hazed pale yellow; quite fizzy. A little funky barnyard up front. Bottle at home, shared with Sharon on the Courtyard Dairy tutored cheese and cider tasting with Andy and Tom Oliver, 05/04/21. Light haze on a pale golden pour with a moderate white cap, carbonation well evident. Nose is fresh apple, light funk, apple core, light tannins. Taste comprises apple core, grass, tannins, light wooded notes, sprinkle of sugar in the background, orchard wood, light funky rip. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent.

14/6/2019. Bottle courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed. Pours clear very pale gold with a short lasting white head. Aroma of medium sweet apples, light sulphur, stables and funky notes. Moderate sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, quite fizzy carbonation. Drying finish. Fizz was off-putting

330ml bottle from Bottlecraft, Stoke. Pours a misty yellow, Aroma is fresh funky wild apple orchard. Taste bears a pleasant wild, funky floral character, some light lemon and green apple notes, distant silage. Very decent.

330ml bottle from the Cheese & Wine Shop, Darlington. Hazy golden colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of apple, horseblanket. Taste is sour, lemon rind, tangy apple, some apple skin, with funky horsey barnyard notes and drying tannin. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry sour tangy fruity finish. Very drinkable cider.
