Can from Sainsburys. Golden in colour, with moderate fizziness. Aroma of apple juice mixed with some musty herbs. Flavour had some medium dry fruit, a hint of funkiness and the same herbal edge in the finish. The novelty of the hops took this above the mundane. Ok.

Can at home, 24/07/17. Clear golden with a fast collapsing white head. Nose is crisp apple, straw, grains, sweet notes. Taste comprises apple peel, straw, caramel, grains, faint hop notes. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Average stuff but sippable.

330ml can from Tesco Extra, Ashby-del-la-Zouch. Sparkling yellow golden colour with a short-lived white foam head. Aroma of apple and some bitter hop. Taste is apple, sweetish, with light citrus, slight herby note and alittle tannin. Light bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tartish finish. OK.

Can from Tesco and drunk at home. Clear pale gold colour lasting white head. Some apple aroma and a little fresh hop flower on the aroma too. A medium sweet cider with a little apple character but mostly frothy carbonation. Not terrible at all. But the apple flavour is fairly simple and straightforward. A little bit of proper apple cider character but it’s quite swell hidden. OK.
