500ml bottle from Craft Beer Market. Slightly hazy yellow gold colour with a white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of funk, apple, oak. Taste is tangy apple, woody oak, barnyard funky, citric tart, very dry and lightly tannic. Light to medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying finish with some tannins. Nicely drinkable.

At the cidery. Hazy and yellowish. Has a slightly tannic apple character, very quick finish, sort of thin body,

cloudy straw, brief mousse. Aroma of mainly sweet, some tart apples, a little lemon. A little cheese. Pretty light bodied, quite fizzy. Juicy apples (I’d guess a slim majority of them traditional cider apples), a little musty skin. Very dry, slightly spicy finish. Nice finish, lacks a little grunt and body.
