SNAB introduces S.P.A. in 2000. Our American Pale Ale (APA) was unique in Europe at the time. Inspired by the hoppy and aromatic beers of the American west coast, snab brews a complex beer, rich in aroma and taste, easy to drink and thirst-quenching. The yeast comes from Oregon, the cascade and Amarillo hops from the Yakima Valley in Washington. dry-hopping is used to further refine and emphasize the pronounced hop character.

Bottle: Cloudy, light amber coloured, big and stable off-white fluffy head; impressive piney-hoppy nose, completed by a light lemony fruitiness and ayeasty touch; robust bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and soft; moderate hoppy, fruity (lemons and apricots, too) and light sourish finish. Fine, fine........

Bottled. A bit hazy amber colour with mediumsized creamy head. Aroma is fruity and floral hops along with some mild spices, caramel malts and some stinging sweetness. Flavour is quite much the same with the spices being more obvious. Quite fruity and grassy semi dry finish. Pleasant.
