I got this as I once visited Loch Lomond ages ago. They’re new to Japan and new to me. Loch Lomond Bravehop IPA 6% Deep amber color with a rocky light beige foam that vanishes fast. The aroma delivers fruity stone fruit and has some brightness. The tastes gives a somewhat Smokey malt that feels peated/medicinal as well as generic piney hops that feel like a old skool IPA. Could be heat damaged? Brewed last May and no mention of smoked malts. Meh it’s ok and at least it wasn’t expensive (700¥ or so).

Can doesn't mention amber but it is - a bit murky with a nice inch of off white head. Aroma of stewed stone fruit and bread - could have used a top note. But there is one upon a taste and a bit of orange and pine give the whole thing some definition. It's oddly creamy with a dryish moderately bitter finish. Pine creeps up. Interesting.

440ml can. Minimally milky, amber colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy hoppy and mellow, caramel malty aroma, notes of lemon, a touch of red berries. Taste is dry, slightly bitter, fruity and citrusy hoppy, slightly chalky, caramel malty basis with low residual sweetness, slightly diluted hints of red berries, lemon, minimally metallic overtones. Watery texture, dry, minimally repellent palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Nice touch of red berries, slight metallic and chalky interference - still OK.

Can from Lidl. Hazy Amber in colour, with a billowy, off-white, head and moderate carbonation. Floral hops, tangerine fruits, a whiff of pine and caramel, some light malts, leading to a dryish finish. Good.

[44cl can from Lidl, Crowthorne as Loch Lomond Bravehop IPA.] A cloudy amber pour with a tight off-white head and high carbonation; aroma of pine and grapefruit; thick and smooth in the mouth with a fruity apricot taste; then a herbal bitterness and a caramel finish. A decent New England style IPA.

Can that the outlaws gave me (apparently originally from Lidl) - cheers! My first from this brewer. Deep gold to amber with a large white head and a pleasingly frothy but mellow mouthfeel. Bitter pine and grass is soon pushed aside by sweet caramel, peach and marmalade. Pretty pleasant if quite sweet for the style.

440ml can – Pours a lightly hazed amber colour with a small thin off-white head. The aroma is hoppy, citrus, herbal and pine. A moderately sweet taste, sweet malts, light marmalade, grapefruit, caramel and piney flavours with a resiny herbal hap finish.

Pours a slightly cloudy deep gold / pale amber, with a frothy off-white head and a soft citrus fruit aroma. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and moderately carbonated, there’s an initial bitter kick then a bitter orange marmalade taste comes through, with some biscuit malt and a touch of caramel sweetness sitting behind

Can from Lidl Supermarket, Manchester. Hazy orange with a bubbly-frothy head. Has good depth to its hoppiness, which hides its strength well in its taste, which includes some light milky fruitiness. It's not a particularly flavoursome brew though. Some fruit in aroma. Has a carbonation too.

Can at home picked up from Lidl. A light hazed dull orange coloured pour with a loose off white head. Aroma is semi sweet, dusty caramel, earthy hop, light orange, dirty pine. Flavour is composed of caramel, tofee malts, dirty resinous pine, little veggy grass bite in the finish. pinch of salt. Palate is semi sweet, grassy bitter, highish carbonation. Truely meh.
