Creamy white head stayed on a hazy dark golden body. Belgian yeast, coriander & citrus aroma. Medium bodied, finely carbonated with very dry finish. Bitter citrus, lemon, Belgian Yeast & spice tastes with a slightly peppery finish.

0,33 l bottle. Pours golden yellow with big frothy white head. Aroma of malt, clove, yeast, some banana, a hint of dried fruit and caramel, some alcohol. it’s also a bit funky with delicate hop notes. Flavor is very malty, some chewy caramel, some pears and banana. It’s medium sweet, lightly bitterness. Alcohol is present, it gives you that nice warm feeling, but it is not annoying though. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is quite lively. Finish is long and pleasantly spicy bitter.

330 ml bottle, served in tulip glass. Fantastic hops aroma. Yeasty, fruity and floral. Great bitter taste, probably the reference for a Belgian Tripel. Lively carbonation. Golden colour. One of my favourites!

Beer #2 in the "How the Hell have I not rated this??" series. Bottle drunk some time 2005-2008, can’t remember exactly.
Large, foamy white head tops a light blonde body, good clarity and sediment left behind. Very strong retention.
Brett! and lots of it, in the nose. Light perfume, light band aid and lots of fruity esters to match; nectarine, pear, apple. Delicate honey, seemingly nicely attenuated lies behind it. It’s joined by black pepper and just a hint of marmalade. Wow, this is one of the better "Trippels" I’ve had, though it’s not really a trippel. No big breadiness, absolutely no clove. Not even all that yeasty, in comparison to most other trappist beers. No alcohol or flaw.
Fruity, dry and with enough residual base malt to provide a soft, but not too soft, texture. Some light graininess and lots of ester character, with moderate bitterness, lots of black pepper phenol and easygoing, lightly funky brett notes (light lime, hickory, band aid). Tight, natural carbonation is very high, and needs time to breath. A bit of sharpness and alcohol on the end, mixed in with the big ester character, but it’s not really problematic. Nice honeyish malt, grain and light brett lingering.
Looks like this one has gone downhill in recent years...so I probably just let my memories rest on this older bottle.

Bottle. Color: Clear golden, dense white head. Taste: Good balance between malt, hops and yeast. Hints of flowers, grass and yellow fruits. Pretty much carbonation. Yeasty and fruity bitter finish. Very nice beer.
