Keg at the Handsome Snuff Bar, Kendal. Gold-coloured with a hint of fizz. Light rhubarb taste with a bit of baked apple. Crisp and refreshing. Pleasant, but then I do always seem to like rhubarb ciders.

Bag in box. Clear light golden. Sweet apple, rhubarb with vanilla. A hint of funk, soft floral, sweaty. Solid medium sweet, light bodied, still, light dry. It’s OK but not something I’d want again.

6/6/2019. From bag in a box at Keeds Beer Festival. Pours pale gold with minimal head. Aroma of light apples, subtle rhubarb and a little caramel and vanilla. Medium plus sweetness with light tightness. Moderate body, slight sticky texture, soft to flat carbonation. The rhubarb is not at all ‘in your face’ and finish is of rhubarb and custard sweets. Not bad but not much to it either.

BIAB at Station House, Durham. Slightly hazy golden colour, no head and light rhubarb & apple aroma. Taste is sweet, cooked apple, rhubarb, with some tartness. Syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, drying tart tangy rhubarb finish. Quite OK

Cask at the bridge Tavern... Murky amber... No head ... Soft dry apple fruit nose... Light dty apple fruit.. Long apple.. Tiny rhubarb.. Soft fruits... Soft tart

Box @ Cellar Bar, Chester. Pours hazy yellow, no head. Aroma has light rhubarb notes. Taste is mushy apple tart with soft rhubarb influence. Generally clean on the palate with a light fuzz. Would prefer more rhubarb.

Keg @ Victorian Craft Beer Café, Halifax. Clear, very pale gold en colour with a small carbonation. Has a full apple flavour without a tanginess, making it feel crisp and smooth in the palate. There’s a fair aroma too.
