Milk sugar in your stout is like cream in your coffee. Just enough sweetness to keep the dark roast in check. Rich and robust, our classic Milk Stout exhibits notes of dark chocolate, freshly brewed coffee, caramelized sugar and roasted malt.

bottle, pours black with a thin white head. Sweet whipped cream and dark malt aroma. Nice flavor, not over the top sweet but nice roasted malt burnt sugar and a light carmel sweetness. Mouth is lightly carbonated. Not bad, nothing stands out though.

12 oz bottle. When I had this at the brewery a couple years ago, I was completely blown away. I thought it was one of the best stouts ever. Now, in the bottle, it’s merely great rather than extraordinary. Aroma is quite spicy. Tastes like a very good stout.

Cask at American beer fest White Horse, London. Deep brown pour with a beige head on top. Chocolate, roasted malt aroma. Milk chocolate, coffee, almond, caramel taste. Quite sweet. My dear Grandmother would have really enjoyed this American version of a cream stout.

Bottle: Clear, deep ruby amber coloured, small beige head. Aroma: molasses and dried fruits, traces of leather and coffee; medium bodied, a bit sticky, solid, almost dryish, sweet-bitter flavour; robust, but shorter dry bitter-coffeeish finish. Good, nourishing, tasty.........

Bottle. Poured black with a brown head. Aroma was rich but sweet, notes of chocolate and candy bars. Flavor was sweet and full throughout, main note was milk chocolate. Nice for the style.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours black with a tan head. Smells sweet of malt and chocolate. Tastes sweet of rosted malt, chcolate and actualy some alcohol dispite the low percentage.
