Hazy, pale yellow. Thin head. Light and hoppy, lemony aroma. Flavour has that too, with a little breadiness and somewhat floral. Not very interesting but it's clean and clear and you could happily sit with a few of these for an afternoon.

7th July 2019
hazy yellowish cold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate mildly dry, good fine minerally crispness. Thin malts. Quite a floral lemon. Pinch of lemon candy, not that sweet. Light finish. Never has lemon aspen before, so I nice fruit tick. This is crisp and refreshing but I would like it to even punchier.

(Can) Pours slightly hazy pale golden with tiny white head. Lovely aroma - lemon but not sour with hints of vanilla. Light body with good bright carbonation. Pleasantly tart, but really not very sour. Lemon, sherbet, at the start. A bit flat in the middle with some peppery notes appearing and some modest bitterness in the finish. Nice, refreshing, easy drinking and interesting.

330ml can. Hazy, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with small to average, frothy, rapidly diminishing, white head. Citrusy, herbal and spicy aroma, hints of lemon juice, lemon zest, gherkin, vinegar, a touch of lemon thyme and (probably) lemon myrtle. Taste is dry, tart-ish, citrusy and herbal, notes of lemon, lemon zest, hints of salted lemon, lemon thyme, lemon myrtle. Very refreshing. Resides in Saison-Gose borderland.

330ml can. Hazy yellow colour with a white foamy head that quickly dissipates away. Nose of zesty citrus and musk sticks. Taste is sour citrus rind, lemony with some pale malt, grain, musk and flowery notes. Light bodied, low carbonation, dry tangy sour finish. Quite OK.

330ml can. Pours hazy gold. Lemon, perfume, preserved lemon, lavender, a real lemongrass thing. Bit watery. Fine.

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from the Beer Hawk. Pours lightly hazed yellow-gold with a foamy, pure white head. Loads of zesty lemon and lime in the aroma, some pine needles, wheat flakes. Light-medium sweet flavour with modest rindy bitterness, tons more zesty and oily citrus peel, background bread. Light bodied with fine, somewhat spritzy carbonation. Finishes with more assertive zesty character, lemon peel, oily pine, faint grapefruit pith, suggestions of hay. A bit one-dimensional but not bad.
