A fruit smoothie IPA with loads of guanabana, for a hoppy and juicy mañana.
Guanabana Mañana was brewed with lactose and a lot of Guanabana (also known as Soursop) - fruit that comes from Central America. This fruit has healthy doses of Vitamins C, B1 and B2 and promises that you’ll be fit for this summer and full of happiness inside and out.
The profile of this beer is markedly fruity, both on aroma and flavors, with plenty of citrus and tropical fruits, coming from the use of Citra, Galaxy and Mosaic hops in addition to 200 kilos of fruit pulp.

Bottle from Saveur Biere. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity and moderate hoppy - fruity and citrus. Flavor is medium sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 130817

Cloudy blond appearance with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour are very fruity. Very much like grapefruit and sour apple. Quite sharp and very refreshing with plenty of hop bitterness.

Tap. Pours cloudy yellow, large white head, dissipates slowly, good lacing. Aroma is very fruity, tropical, guava, citrus, lime. Flavor is light plus sweet, light Bitter, tropical citrus fruity. Medium body, soft mouthfeel. Good.

Bottle from Cerveteca Lisboa. It pours cloudy pinkish - amber with a thick, foamy off-white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, juicy, tropical fruits, fruit smoothie, creamy, pineapple, guava and green banana. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, very fruity, fruit smoothie, creamy, zesty citrus, pithy, green banana, pineapple, light alcohol heat and some spice. Finish is dry and fruity. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice fruit smoothie action.

Bier van de tap gedronken tijdens bierfestival Oirschot. Bleek gelig bier met matig schuim. Aroma is citrusachtig. Smaak is fris fruitig en hoppig. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Geproefd met Roelzie1986, Inoven en Lieke bij het Brabants Bier festival in Oirschot. Het is troebel geel bier met een medium schuimkraag. Het heeft een fris zoete smaak met een lekker bittertje.

Sampled @ Oirschots Bierfestival 2017. Very hazy, murky pale yellow color, full sized white head that lasts for quite a long time. Aroma is nicely hoppy, loads of citrussy hops. Flavor is dominated by citrussy hops as well. Nice fruity bitterness too. Decent body and carbonation. Solid, but a bit too sharp on the citrus imo. Solid though.

Bottle from het Biermoment, batch L22022017 BB 11 2017, 33 cl sample. Horrible murky beige color, which is perhaps on purpose because of this crazy NE IPA hype? Aroma of Fanta and Sisi soda, yeasty byproducts and a bit of nutty caramel. Slight bitter, but mostly fruity orange sweetness, but also a lot of bad yeast products. I guess on second hand, there is way too much yeast inside this bottle, and i didnt even pour it all out. Might have some potential, but right now it is plain bad. Sorry.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 29A/21A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L22022017 (BBF 11.2017). AROMA: medium guanabana aroma with medium-low hop notes of grapefruit and pine. medium malt background, almost neutral, with a low sweet character. APPEARANCE: pale orange with a light brown tint. hazy. medium white head with low retention. TASTE: medium hop notes (pine, grapefruit), with medium-low to low guanabana fruit presence. moderate malt background, neutral, with a slight sweet character. medium-high bitterness with a dry, bitter finish with a faint guanabana note. PALATE: medium-light body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a very nice IPA with fruit addition and very balanced.
