A Munich helles malt profile of biscuit, cracker and toast, supports a spicy, herbal German Pils hop character. A snap of bitterness and a medium-light body give this classic golden pale lager a superb balance of malt and hops.
Fools Gold - Streik flüssiges Gold.

Brewed for the Fanzine beer club.

5.0% version on tap at BrewDog Soho Hazy pale gold colour lasting white head. Very light helles. Some lemon flavour. Some light malt. Light bitterness on the finish. It's ok. No bad or off flavours. Decent enough light drinkable Hell.

Tap, BrewDog Camden. Almost clear golden, slightly hazy. Small white, nonlasting head. Mild fruity nose with some bready notes. Medium bitterness, quite grassy. Some final sweetness. Mild aftertaste. Lighter body. Fresh and lovely lager.

Can from BrewDog [130518]
Light blonde, crystal clear, frothy white head
Aroma of very light sweet pale malt, hint of soft spicy hops
Taste of soft spicy herbal hops, light sweet pale lager malt, clean, fresh, for a lager quite hoppy
Palate - Soft carb, medium light body, bit oily, clean palate
Overall - Clean well made lager
