Smooth bready beginning. Bitter with a grainy back. Easy to drink, malty dry, bitter with a strange bready cardboard finish.

Transparent bottle. Clear amber colour. Two finger tall off-white head. Aroma: honey, meadow herbs, caramel, slightly metallic hop. Light body. Taste: pretty malty. Biscuit, caramel, honey. Light balancing bitterness at finish. It's strange but this one appeared to me better than the regular version.

Bottle from ASDA, Birchwood. Deeper golden with a small head. Mildly skunky tasting ale, this is more prevalent in its nose. Crisp session textured, perhaps this gluten free effort is slightly better than the original version.

500ml bottle trade from Grumbo. Amber colour, white foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of malt, toffee, metallic hop. Taste is malty, toffee, grain, bready with some papery bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry light bitter finish. OK.

50cl bottle from Sainsburys, Bracknell. An amber pour with a fast fading white head and moderate soda-like carbonation; slightly grassy malt aroma; malty taste; and a biscuity finish. Drinkable and unexciting, and not dis-similar to the standard version.
