full amber color. Fairly dry with strong tannins and funky yeastiness. Tannic and very dry with excellent yeast character. This is real farmhouse type of cider. Lingering Smokey tannic finish. Excellent

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft. Pours clear honey-gold with a small, bubbly topping. Holds modest sweetness and quick, cleansing dryness, a little musty cellar, red apples, some bitter skin, light grass. Light to medium bodied with a suggestion of carbonation. Dry finish, lightly ripened apple sweetness. Stellar.

Bottle in Oldmeldrum. It pours a rich orange - amber with a few bubbles on the cap. The aroma is rich and unctuous, oily, ripe tangy apple, sweet apple pie, pie crust, earth, light funk, leather, apple skins, some stone fruits and candy cane. The taste is crisp, dry, quenching, ripe and juicy, red apple, oily fruits, oak, tannin, apple skin, leather, hint of spice and earth with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Quenching and moreish. Not quite the depth that I was expecting, but tasty anyhow.
