Keg at Dynamo, Dundee. Hazy amber gold colour, thin white foam head and aroma of peach, funky, hops. Taste is malt caramel with peach, grapefruit citrus rind, bretty, yeasty earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable

Bottle. Murky golden body with a thick off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of salted apricot, yeast and dust. Flavour of musty lemon and sea salt. Musty and bitter. Do Six Degrees North use the same house yeast in all their beers? They all seem to have a salted lemon quality, regardless of the beer style.

On keg at 6DN Edinburgh. Appearance - golden and clear. Decent lacing. Nose - resin, perfumed and perhaps a bit piney. Taste - more resin and sweet fruit this time, possibly stewed plums. Palate - light to medium bodied. Dry middle and finish. Overall - a bit challenging.

Bottle. Wine Rack, Sharrow, Sheffield. Vibrant gold, with a medium to full haze. Thin, sturdy, lasting, white head. Looks good. Nose has tangy citrus. Fresh hop leaf. Hint of honey. Bready malts. Taste is mostly pithy, citrusy bitter. Some honey sweetness. Light to medium body. Fairly drying. Bright and fine carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish. Drying close.

Keg at Six Degrees North Aberdeen. It pours hazy golden with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is fresh, juicy tropical fruit vibes, pina colada, mango, fruit smoothie, floral notes and sponge cake. The taste is firmly dry, good hit of bitterness, bright, floral, pithy citrus, citrus peel, doughy bread, light spice, some pine action, green danky character and fruity backbone with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Plenty of flavour and punch. Quenching and moreish.
