Fra gravicask på St. Albans beer & cider festival 2018. Delt med Rune. Aprikosfarget. Veldig lavt skum. Bra ferskenaroma. Smaken sukkertøy. Behagelig. Fersken igjen i ettersmaken.

Pours deep orange from the bottle. A thin, frothy head lingers. Aroma is nectarine with herbal almost grassy undertones. Taste has a rather plain, unrewarding bitterness that, while not overly intense, fails to offer much in the way of accompanying tones that draw one deeper. Lingering notes greenish, not fully ripe peach or nectarine. Body is medium, texture a touch watery up front. Overall quite drinkable but rather odd for a pale ale and not enough here to make me want another.

Can at home. A murky pour with not much aroma, but it was served well chilled. The taste was that of a typical German beer and not something that I would describe as a pale ale. All very pleasant, but not special.

can. clear orange, orange to yellow head. flowery and fruity aroma, quite juicy, but not very crisp. flavor is juicy and malty, bitterness is low, and flavor is not distinctly hoppy. there is some bitterness though, perhaps they used a mix of euro and us hops?

33cl can. Poured a slightly hazy light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is biscuit malt, jammy, marmalade fruit, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a dry malty, fruity, light dry pepper spice, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Can from Waitrose, drunk at home. Light orange, hazy with a little bit of white head around the rim. Papaya, cantaloupe, a touch of banana and candy sugar in the aroma. Bittersweet taste, fresh and juicy but with an astringent note in the finish. Slightly watery body with mango and a light touch of ginger in the aftertaste. Well-carbonated. I was surprised by how much I liked this.
