On tap at La Fine Mousse, Paris on 27th November 2016. Rated as a novelty ale. Deep sepia with light tan foam and scant lacing. Roast malt aroma. Very herbal in-mouth with notes of green tea, coriander and lemongrass. The first two of these dominate the finish. Medium-bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks Stas. Brown with a beige head. Aroma of piney hops, toast, a bit of caramel, a bit of earth. Sweetish flavor with malt, toast, a bit of caramel, nuts, some fruitiness, fruity and piney hops, and a bitter finish. Light to medium-bodied. Pretty nice.

Keg at Brewdog Bologna. An opaque black coloured pour with a lasting mid tan head. Aroma is tangy citrus lemon, earthy pine eye hop, dry roasted grains, hint of smoke. Flavour is composed of bitter sour lemon, sour lemon, burnt toast, woody pine. Palate is medium light, spritzy carbonation. Bitter lemon. Not a huge fan. Not a mild.

Cask Huge cream-coloured head over black beer with a redbrown sheen. (Blood)oranges, red fruit, raspberry(jam); intense even through the huge head. Dark malts, dry hops, fruit only in the finish/background. Very slowly, raspberry announces itself. Sweetness is there too, but the hops, as well as the dark dryish malts, keep it tempered. Light body but slick. Typical cask carbonation. The raspberry is just a tad too jam-like. For the rest, this is an outstanding blendbeer.

Draft @ ML Fontainas, Italian Beer Wknd #5.

(Thx! for sharing!) Sampled draft @ Italian BEER Week-End #5. Black, solid mocha head. Smells like a blueberry muffin, damn that is brilliant, mocha, coffee, sweet, faint raspberry,… Taste is sweet mocha, soy hazelnut milk – mocha flavoured, low blueberry, sweet, easy, instant chocolate milk powder, tea, mocha,… Pretty awesome, rich & interesting. Body is a touch, low thin, faintly mocha flavoured hazelnut-milk. Very rich & intense. More beers like this please.
