Cask at The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer, Bristol. Pours black with a tan head. Crunchie aroma, on the taste its moderate to heavy sweet, burnt toffee, chocolate, molasses. Sticky sweet, slightly acrid finish. Medium body with soft carb. Loads of flavour for a 4% beer but too sweet for me

Cask-conditioned at the Tobacco Factory, Bristol 9/11/2018. Sweet, cadbury's crunchie and toffee notes, a touch of toastiness and a gentle finish. A good stout, if a bit too sweet for me.
