Can at home, picked up online, 01/05/20. Very lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is orange pith, grass, light pine, papaya, melon, toasted malts. Taste comprises orange pith, light minerality, grass, hint of pine, lemon drizzle, dusty skunky vibes in a very mellow way. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced grassy hop bitterness. Ok easy drinking IPA.

Dorée-paille présentant un léger voile, col crémeux tenace blanc-cassé.
Arôme au bouquet bien houblonné - en fonction du houblon - note de citron, citron vert et agrumes, petite touche de pin et de baies fraîches de forêt.

Palais est plaisant avec une belle base maltée qui laisse ample place au houblon pour briller. Je note un beau caractère herbacé, des notes fruitées rappelant les agrumes, un léger pin avec un petit côté cèdre voire feuille de tabac qui tend à ajouter un côté sec - retrouve aussi un léger élément de piment doux.

Au final, une série 'single hop' qui plaît et reste classique, pas de fioriture comme on en voit de trop ailleurs.

Jazzy Hours, Ratebeer Odense, March 2020. Hazy orange with a lasting white head. Fruity aroma with lots of fresh herb like rosemary, sage and thyme. Sweet fruity and herbal flavour.

Can. Wine Rack, Sharrow, Sheffield. Opaque, pale orange. Pretty sturdy, bubbly, glossy topped, lasting, white head. Decent looker. Nose has fairly punchy, floral, orange peel hop. A bit of weed. A bit of pine. Clean biscuit malt backdrop. Taste is pretty bitter, as seems to be the case with these Buxton pales. Modicum of biscuit sweetness on the lips. Medium, oily palate. Fine carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish.

Can @ Jazzy Hours, Oluf Bagers Gade, Ratebeer Odense, March 2020. Pours hazy Golden with a frothy White head. Spicy green and hoppy. Rosemary spicy. Smooth with a dry bitter finish.

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 31 Aug 2019) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with dense white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with tropical fruit, pineapple, pine needles and resin. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of lemon peel, pine needles, resin, grainy malt and a balanced citric/piney bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Abit one-dimensional, but fresh and tasty. Quite nice.

Lovely bitter finish
