Bottled as La Montoise Blonde at 5.8% ABV. Gushing opening. Cloudy yellow with a tall off-white frothy head of good retention. Aroma: Pale malt, spicy Belgian yeast, dried apples, grass. Taste: Pretty dry. Similar profile. Light ending hop bitterness. Mouth feel: Medium minus body, undercarbonated due to the gushing. Summary: OK.

33cl bottle from Delhaize Chazal in Brussels. F: big, white, good retention. C: gold, hazy with a lot of tiny UFO ´s. A: malty, bit citrus, mineral, spicy touch. T: medium malty base, light citrus, floral, coriander, banana, medium carbonation, taste is better than aroma, good for the style, enjoyed.

Donkergeel bier met schuim. Gedronken @ hotel te Mons/Bergen. Smaak is bitter hoppig, licht zoet en kruidig met iets van honing, koriander en een licht citrusje. Echt goed.

30/05/2018 - 33cl bottle @ L'Exelsior, Mons Clear almost amber colour, big white head. Nose is malts , bit spices. bit caramel. Taste is malts (even bit dark malts touch), caramel, bit spices.

Little cloudy blond to light beige beer, some ugly chunks floating around under a big crackling white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: citrus, bit spicy, yeast, ginger, coriander. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: spicy start, bit sourish, lots of coriander, soft bitterness, citrus. Aftertaste: lots of coriander, bitter touch, yeasty.

Pours hazy whitish golden, with a pure white thick head. Low intensity aromas: tropical fruit, orange zest, dandelion, raw yolk. Soft, quite tasteless and watery.

33cl bottle taken at the 2012 Diester Bierfestival on 20 Oct: shared with my wife. This is a cloudy, light blonde beer with a citrusy hop nose and taste but with a semi-sweet twist mid-gulp. Lively, with good carbonisation and maybe a wheat, grainy feel to the whole brew: which is why it was hazy. Refreshing and interesting: worth finding.

Dorée, col blanc épais. Arôme est essentiellement d’agrumes, épices et malt pâle/cara rappelant une blanche. En bouche, profile pétillant, noter de blanche, froment, assez poussiéreuse en fin de bouche, agrémentée par des notes d’agrumes et épices, le tout reste sec au fini. Reste agréable et fraîche avec une approche distinct vers une blanche.
