Our friends at North Brewing Co headed to Ellon to create this deep, complex milk stout with aromas of warming spice from the Tonka beans, toasted oak and vanilla. Like all roadtrips, this one is also powered by coffee and it leaves a beer as dark and true as the blacktop stretching out ahead.

Süßlicher Geruch, intensiv nach Kokosnuss. Süffiger malziger Kokosbeginn, weich, minimal herb. Cremiger Mittelteil, Schokolade, trocken, dennoch ziemlich süffig. Vollmundig, ansteigende Süße, Das Kokosaroma bleibt auf hohem Level. Langer Nachgeschmack. 9/12/12/14/11/12

33cl bottle. A almost black beer with a beige head. Aroma of sweet chocolate malt, cookies, vanilla. Taste of sweet cookies, caramel, vanilla, chocolate. Good!

Bottled. A black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of malt, roasted malt, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, roasted malt, and coconuts, leading to a bitter finish.

33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown to black. Small tan head. Aroma is coconut and vanilla. Lingering vanilla, coconut and caramelish. Roasted and dark malty. Lingering coconut finish.

9/5/2020. Sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours black with a bubbly beige head. Delicious aroma of coffee, vanilla, chocolate, roasted malt, toffee and butterscotch. Medium plus sweetness. Quite full bodied, with a creamy texture and very soft carbonation. Enjoyed this.

330ml bottle from Brewdog online store. Pours black in colour with a beige foam head and aroma of dark chocolate, vanilla, coffee beans, roast malt. Taste is dark malt, roasty, smokey, with coffee, dark chocolate, dried fruits, molasses hints and earthy ashy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roast bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.
