Guinness & Timmermans created this amazing blend of 3 unique beers: Guinness West Indies Porter (1801), Guinness Special Export (first brewed in 1944 exclusively for John Martin) and Timmermans Oude Kriek (the world’s oldest lambic brewery).
Note: As of mid 2024 Guinness West Indies Porter is no longer part of the blend.
A unique dark beer with a subtle pink hue in the foam. Aromas of chocolate, oak & cherry. Full flavoured and beautifully balanced.

12oz bottle shared at the Spring DC tasting. Black and lambic. Chocolate and cherry. A touch weird. I like Guinness and I actually like Timmermans, so I'm not sure why I'm entirely hesitant here. I may try it again, but it feels more like something I would pour together at the end of the night if I had these beers sitting on the table.

Strange vibe. Starts off kind of like a sugary kriek lambic or something then finishes on that roast guinness finish.

50cl bottle pours a hazy brown with some wispy white head. Toast with raspberry jam on the nose, flavored soda. Flavor is chocolate and raspberry and soda. Finishes fruity and watery.

Bottle a free gift from Belgiuminabox webshop, Antwerp, Belgium after I queried their length of time it took so process and then send a beer order. Had this listening to Billy Nomates self titled album and after a nice Beef with apricot, prunes and spiced pecans. Pours black with a light beige head. This is a much better beer than I could of hoped for, a very nice interplay of light stout roastiness, smoothness and light creaminess meets lambic tart, funkiness and tanginess. A very pleasant beer, I had the whole 750ml bottle to myself.
