Bottled. Hazy deep rubyish brown colour with a mediumsized foamy beige head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, some caramel, yeasty spiciness and mild herbs. Flavour is coffee, roasted malts, some floral and mild yeasty spiciness with some mild herbal and bitter tones too.

Bottle at Gainsbar. Aroma is dark fruit. Bit of caramel. Taste has elements of coffee bit not so strong. Dubbel sweetness, bit of cream, vanilla. Light spice.

Fles gekocht in België, thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een donker bier met weinig schuim. De geur van koffie komt je tegemoet. De smaak is zacht, gebrand en koffie achtig. Lekker.

Bottle, 6%. Farty and roasted aroma turning into coffee after a bit. Clear very dark brown colour with a red shine. OK stable brown head. The flavour is has a citric note, almost sour. Also has ashes, burnt molasses. Late citric liquorice. Does not taste much of coffee, more of burnt malt and liquorice. Creamy mouthfeel.

Bottle. Pours hazy dark ruby/copper brown with stable tan head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel and Belgian yeast, with touches of coffee. Bitter, roasty amd coffeelike flavour with notes of malt and yeast and hintsbof hops and fruit. Bitter, roasty aftertaste with estery hints. Reasonable.

Very dark brown, hazy with airy beige head. Aroma has chocolate, some coffee, caramel and roasted malt. Sweet flavour, roasted with caramel and light coffee and roasted bitterness. Sweetness is a little unbalanced.

Bottle at Egalite. Lots of maltiness. Chocolate, roasty, coffee. Even light dried fruits and warmth. Seems much stronger in ABV than it actually is. Very good.
