Sampled from 1.5 l bottle. Clear, golden yellow with a white head. Sourish-fruity, slightly funky aroma of lemon, gooseberry, rhubarb and some oak. Moderately sour, quite fruity and slightly funky taste of lemon, gooseberry, rhubarb, barnyard and some oak, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, quite tart and dry finish. Medium body, moderately astringent and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!

Bottle, 150 cl. #254/564. It’s a lightly hazy golden colored beer with a white finger thick head. The aroma is citrusy, lemon mostly and a touch of orange, with a funky touch and some sour berries. It’s full bodied, nicely carbonated, with a soft bitterness. Funk, lemon and some oranges and gooseberry or something in that direction. Some white wine notes. Lasting finish. A fine beer indeed, but a bit intense. 160102

Magnum @ Whale Night, Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours hazy gold, white head. Aroma is grapes and white wine with light funk. Taste is hugely complex and layered, each sip revealing something different. Lots of white wine, grapes with a crisp sour character. Light sherbet emerging. Complex, fascinating beer.

1,5 liter bottle. Slightly unclear golden body with a big, white head. Aroma is acidic fruity, funky, white wine, lemon and citric fruit. Flavor is nice, funky, fruity, lively acidic and slightly alcoholic barrel something. Fine balanced body and quite smooth all the way. Delicious.
