Bottle. Color: Clear golden, white head. Aroma: Malty, some hop.Taste: Sweetish, malty, grain, bread. Not a lot of hop used in this beer, I presume. Light bitterness. Mwah.

Small mixed-bubbles white head over metallic, clear-golden beer. Bit weyish grains’ nose, grassy, pale malts. Again sweet malt/grains, and just a tad of diacetyl. Grassy again; finish is drier, acquiring a honeyish streak. Light body, quite slick, velvety feel. Van Steenberge Pilsener, classical. Waarschijnlijk een etiketbier;

75cl Bottle shared. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, a bit sweet, hint of lemon/citrus, light hoppy. Flavour is medium sweet, light malty, a bit of hay, lemon, light-bitter finish. Light-bodied. I expected much worse. Not bad.

Sampled from bottle a long time ago. These are the bottles that you can find on the shelves next to the "Congratulations you’re 50"-beers, which are all aliases so I wonder whether this beer, as well as "Kleinig Geitje" are really different both from eachother as from other Van Steenberge beers. Looking at the basic notes I made way back when I drank these beers they tasted the same to me. One of so many average pilseners: clear golden color, white head. Aroma and taste are malts, lightly hay, lightly bitter, lightly herbal.

16/IV/13 - 75cl bottle from Mitra van Bergen (Eindhoven) @ home - BB: 19/IX/13 (2013-331) Thanks to Jois for picking up the beer!
Note: given the fact that they have the same BB-date as the Kleinig Geitje, could it be that it is the same brewing batch, but this one got dry hopped afterwards?
Clear light orange beer, irregular creamy head, pretty stable, little adhesive. Aroma: pretty fruity start, peaches, bit chemical, dusty, paint, sweet. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, some exotic fruits, little sweet, malty, grains, bitter touch. Aftertaste: herbal, grassy hops, fruity, some citrus, little metallic, bitter ending. Much better than the other beer, Kleinig Geitje.
