473mL can, pours a cloudy pale golden yellow with a medium white head. Aroma has a nice Belgian yeast profile, light spiciness, and toasted grains. Flavour is dry, revealing a very nice spicy Belgian yeast character, some toasted grains, a touch of champagne-like effervescence, finishing dry, spicy and toasted. Surprisingly nice use of the yeast, finishing reasonably dry and complex. Very good.

Dullish pale, some haze. Aroma is peppery, estery, with a sweet lychee pale malt. On the palate, off-dry, yeasty, with pear, lychee, and again that peppery yeast accent. Well-balanced. Solid tripel.

473mL can. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Lots of spicy yeast, herbal grass, white pepper on the nose. Flavour has spicy Belgian yeast, herbal grass, white pepper. Good carbonation. Surprisingly well done, especially for a North American brewery using Belgian yeast; good yeast expression and solid carbonation. Very good.

Aroma of tropical fruits, yeast, grassy hops, and some good cereals. Quite bitter, but refeshing and light. Alcohol is very well hidden, and the finishis a little tangy with a subtle fruity sweetness. Nice beer!

An OG brew that I've surprisingly never got around to.

Drove back from St-Felicien to see the microbrewery on a trip up there... and they were closed (even though Google said open). First brew from them, as picked up in a Tadoussac store a few days later. Luckily, a Tripel ! Hazy golden, big creamy off-white cap, great retention and lacing. Nice spicy aromas over the yeast. The taste is full of spices as well with a nice bitterness. A little dry, a little hoppy making this a nice all-around Tripel. A better start :P

This beer was kind of funny in that it poured as almost 100% foam from the bottle. It has a big bready yeasty sweet aroma with light fruity notes. Medium-full bodied with a silky mouthfeel. The taste is bready lemony and sweet. A nice no fuss tripel.

Depanneur Peluso, Montreal 50cl ($6): Pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is sugar first, fruit second, and yeast third. More bitter than your average triple. Hoppy bitterness sustained into the aftertaste. Nice carbonated body. Somewhat sweet. A little sticky. Overall, it seems to be well balanced. I liked it.

Decent tripel. Aroma of coriander, citrus and floral yeast. Pours golden amber with puffy head and lacing. Light sweet finish, soft carbonation. Good if nothing super innovative. Bottle from Broue Haha.
