My third and final 16oz pour at Oggi’s Encinitas outlet on 8th May 2016. Asked for it not to come in a frosted glass, still arrived so cold it had no aroma foe ten minutes and no taste for even longer. Amber blend with not a lot going on to be honest, knock up the temp by 15 degrees and it might have been decent. Scored kindly and objectively.

Enjoyed on tap as part of a sampler at Oggi’s in Garden Grove, CA. Appearance is gold with rich white head that laces to the glass. Aroma is light in both malts and hops, a bit of hay as well. Taste is decent, becomes more flavorful as it warms up, Amarillo hops shine, backed with bready malts. It didn’t taste good at first, growing on me a bit.

Draught at Oggi’s, Sta. Clarita, CA. Clear amber small head. Roasty and perfumy nose. Light-medium bodied with cisp mouthfeel, Niely drinkable with enough hop presenece to make it interesting. Good late bitterness.

Draught at the brewpub, Scottsdale, AZ
Hazy amber color. Light caramel and hop aroma. Caramel flavor, light dry gently roasted malt; quite strong bitterness. It’s a beer for the first steps, not exciting.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small white head. Light fruity hops aroma. Flavour is dry, fruity and solid bitter. Decent malt base to counterbalance the hops. Ends dry and fruity.
