Summer Fruits Winter Pale. a light easy-drinking strong ale for the cold, with summer berries lending a hint at warmer days. And Bexar County Brewery taught us an excellent trick that avoids making the usual mess when brewing with fruit - cheers Steve!

Old rating - A 330ml bottle from Suds & Soda in Derby. Aromas & tastes of fruits, toffee, pine. The strong ABV is very present & not doing any favours. Just about passable.

Bottle at cgarvieuk's. Pours cloudy amber. Aroma is green vegetables, overdone fermented fruit, old sugar. Body is medium, overdone banana, strawberry and all of that yukky overripe fruit. No no no... Meh.

Bottle from Triangle, Shipley. Copper-amber with a carbonation and a small head. Full-bodied light malty ale with plenty of sugars in the mix. There's a hint of fruit in here but within a dense mixture.

Hazy orange - amber beer, small cream colour head. Smooth palate, fairly dry, modest fine carbonation. Sweet simple dry malts, little dry cream. Esters and modest berry fruits. Smooth dry and slightly spicy finish. Not doing much for me, a little clunky and dry.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham, consumed at home Sunday 4th February 2018 cooking Beef Fillet with Port Sauce and Chips. Hazy light amber with a white sticky head. I am getting vanilla from the off, I've maybe served this a little bit cold. This is fruity, malty and a big beast of a beer, it's a little chewy, I like this, I really do, but Torrside do better.
