This bitter blonde is a neutral yet firm, structured beer. The use of Tettnang hops gives this hoppy, bitter brew a light citrus taste in the finish.

Draught at their own Proeflokaal; listed as Kölsch
Hazy blond color, nice creamy head. Delicate aroma of malt with cereal touch. Good malt flavor; the body is more full than your classic Kölsch, pleasant, providing a more pleasant mouthfeel; the bitterness is quite strong, with a light grassy touch and a hint of noble hops. Indeed more Landbier than Kölsch, but appreciated.

Tap @ De Prael. Hazy yellow appearance with a white head. Fruity, paper, dull malty nose. Tangy, rich malty, lingering unpleasant bitter flavor. This was described as a kolsch but was unfiltered. There were some weird flavors going on with this one. Of course, we had just come from Cologne, so maybe we just had high standards.

Hazy orange beer. Light thin white head. Crisp palate but turning creamy. Spirity and a little minerally as well. Light orange with a dash of lemon. Saison like malts just before the semi dry finish. Not bad at all and quite refreshing.

Bottle from Daily Deli, Amsterdam, Netherlands on Thursday 29.09.11 we sat outside Frank (camper) at Camping Het Rieven, Landsmeer on a truly gorgeous, wonderfully warm sunny evening. In the very dim light of the campsite this looks a hazy golden colour with a thin white head. I drink this alongside eating my chocolate flavoured with pink peppercorns so in fairness the beery flavour’s maybe a tad tainted. However there is a nice carbonation, its tangy with a curly bitterness, some citrus and a little buzziness on the tongue, good stuff. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Sampled at the brew pub. Pours a hazy, light yellow with a lacing, creamy white head. Very yeasty, bready nose, light fruit, light spice. Flavor has a good citrus kick, malty, white bread, yeast, light pepper. Medium bodied, zesty finish. Refreshing.
