Lattina. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, cioccolato fondente, caffè, liquirizia, nocciola, frutta secca, pane tostato, agrumi, frutta passita e torbato.

Can. Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head.. Palate is airy and mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Dry dark malts, a little dark chocolate. Decent fruity mid and modest spices. Soft fruity finish. Mild spicy bitter linger. Decent for what it is, just a tad dry.

330ml can. Jet black colour with average, thick, creamy, mostly lasting, moderately lacing, tan head. Spicy aroma on roasty, slightly chococlately, dark malty basis, notes of clove, hints of cinnamon, a touch of nutmeg, fruity hints of plum, maybe some chipotle. Taste is roasty, chocolately dark malty, spicy, minimally metallic, subtly sweet, notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, hints of ginger, clove and cinnamon, a fruity touch of plum, lately accumulating chipotle-like peppery spiciness with subtle smokiness; carbonation combines with the peppery spiciness and arranges for a prickling palate.

Can: Literally black, huge creamy and stable tanned head; sweet-bitter toasty-fruity nose with a good dash of medical hops, some leathery spots underneath; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour with a delicate acidity, medium to full bodied, quite soft; lingering dryish roasty and medical finish, some hops sticking to the palate. Good, but is the " medical " touch really necessary...
