Bottled (Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Deep ruby colour, small white head. Aroma is wood, some ripe fruits, and some mild alcohol. Flavour is alcohol, ripe fruits, some spices and mild tartness. A bit burning alcohol, otherwise quite ok balance. Aroma was rather weak (mild) though.

Backlog March 2018. Clear deep amber body under a dense beige head. Aroma has caramel malt, dry fruit, oak and hint of ripe fruit. Taste is medium sweet malty and fruity (dry fruit), oak and some alcohol. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste.

Bottle shared with Caesar. Opaque brown color, off-white head. Smell and taste malts, sour cherries and cherry stone. Hard to describe but I quite like it. --- Beer merged from original tick of HaandBryggeriet / Birrifico del Ducato / Närke #1000 on 01 Oct 2017 at 11:28 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. Original review text: Bottle @ home. Opaque dark brown to black color, medium sized beige head. Aroma is malts, wood, oak, dark fruits. Taste malts, dark malts, a slight tart hint coherent with oak maturing, light cherry influence, a bit dark fruit alcohol bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Decent. The light cherry-tart influence really doesn't suit me.

Bottle shared at home during a video chat (the new norm). Pours a deep dark red, some residue, almost no head. Aroma is very vinous, red berries, red wine, a little boozy. Big body, winey texture, smooth, almost no carvonation. Flavour is rich and complex, very vinous, lots of big red wine, the amarone definitely comes through. Lots of red berries as well and distinct wood. Was a bit sceptical at the beginning, it's a big wine-driven beer with Belgian yeast, with the wine BA really making this beer. Unusual but it definitely grew on me. Almost a grape ale tastewise!

33cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours a beautiful dark brown, with nice reflections and moderate cream foam, very fine. Aroma is delicate malty and barrel. Body is fairly dense, with limited carbonation. A little alcoholic. Taste is medium sweet, with a little acidity from barrel agreeing oxidation. Final is average.

Hazy amber brown beer, small pale tan head. Light palate, fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Slightly tangy and thin malts, some sweetness and a touch of fruity caramel. Light spice in the semi dry mid. A winey fruity vibe comes through strong on the backend. Trace of wet wood. Light semi dry finish. Always interesting but but not really engaging the beer soul.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Maltaroma with dried fruit and oak. Malty sweet flavor with dried fruit, oak, vanilla, vinous notes. Not too alcoholic. Well made.
