Draft sample. Wow, this would age well! Red grape, mild tannins, toffee, raisins, rock candy. Light ABV that is not distracting to the flavor. A bottle of this aged a year or more would be very impressive.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Pikkulintu, 20190215) The beer poured dark brown and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, dried plums, vanilla and wood. Palate was full bodied and warming and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, wood, vanilla, vineousness, alcohol, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was woody, boozy and bitter. An unbalanced and boozy brew.

Bottle picked up from De Molen Brewery shop, and consumed at Camping, Deklever at Diepenveen nr Deventer, Netherlands, Wednesday 26th September 2018 (sat out in the sun) Pours dark brown with a slim off white head. There is a slight hint of balsamic. The barrel ageing is clearly noted and is great if a little forthright at times. Lots of of fruit, a good tang, pleasant beer. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
