Tap at zum Franziskaner in Stockholm. Nose is sweet candis sugar, bread, rye. Palate is super smooth bread, chocolate, citrus. This is indeed the best dunkel I have had.

On tap at the brewery. Dark brown with a thick and lasting off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, toasted malt and nuts, with a mineral touch of damp cellar. Sweetish malty flavour with toasted notes, dried fruit and a touch of herbal hops. Quite bitter and pleasant finish.

Gravity pour from the Pittermännchen-style Fass. Hazy brown-amber color with white head. Aroma is roasted malts, nutty, earthy, a bit farty. Taste is roasted malts, chocolate, barnyard, earthy. Silky mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Very rustic, but tasty.

(Draught at Muted Horn, Berlin, 26 Aug 2017) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of caramel, bread and toast. Malty, slightly roasted taste with caramel, dark bread, toast and a dry finish with a balanced spicy bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Tap at Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fa, Rome-Italy. Amber clear pour which talks to cola, frothy and tick amberish foam. Nose: charming and seducing caramel, nuts, pastry. Hidden roast and grass. Wow. Mouth: medium carbo, roast pils, rustic crumb, aggressively burnt malts. Peculiar and tasty dunkel. Just great.
