This stout is simply not suitable for vegetarians. It contains oysters. Now, you won’t find one at the bottom of the glass, but you may get a touch of sweet minerality in the flavour that comes from the freshly shucked lads that get put in during brewing. Not a bad way to go, even for a bivalve.Delicate and toasty, it also has slightly bitter, fragrant twist, thanks to East Kent Goldings.

330ml bottle (4.6% ABV) from Otdokhni in Moscow. Just over a year has passed since the bottling date. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt and coffee. Taste is light sweet, roasted malt, salt/brine, earthy. I think this is the first Oyster Stout I’ve tried is actually made using oysters. Good, but I don’t think is bottle is in proper condition.

Bottle from Alko. Poured pretty much black in color, thin off white head. Licorice, sweetness, surypy notes and roastedness in aroma. Strong flavors. Nice for the abv.

Bottle. Pours opaque deep brown to black. Small beige head. Aroma: roast, coffee, spicy feel, hops, earth. Light to medium body. Taste: dry, solidly roasty, earth, ground coffee. Decent hopping. Another convincing ale by Porterhouse. Like.

A colablack beer, a head is almost medium sized and light beige. Aroma has roastiness, salt, some liquorice and breadyness. Taste has roastiness salt, liquorice, also some interesting anise liked herbs. Almost medium bodied. Salty sea is noticable, personal. Tasteful.
