Sampled at Borefts 2019, Saturday. A black beer with a tan head. Aroma of sweet dark chocolate malt, liquorice. Taste of heavy sweet strong dark chocolate malt, vanilla, bourbon. Awesome!!

Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy beige head, stable, non adhesive. Aroma: nice raost, alcohol, caramel, coffee, cocoa powder, bit dusty. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very sweet and sugary, lots of alcohol, good roast, sugary, some vanilla. Aftertaste: roasted, alcohol, very sticky and sugary, molasses, maple syrup. Decent, yeah. Rare, probably. Great, not really. A bit over the top...

Sampled at Borefts 2019. Pitch black with brown head. Licorice, lots of sweet pastry notes, soft icecream, light herbal, brownie, bourbon. Very sweet, bit chemical bitter. Thick full bodied.

29/06/2019 - On tap @Ma che siete venuti a fà (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma media color cappuccino, mediamente persistente. Al naso note di cioccolata, vaniglia, melassa, caffè, crema pasticcera. In bocca è dolce, cicciona, robusta e corposa, cioccolatosa, con chiusura appena amara. Corpo pieno, carbonazione media. Intensa, forse un po' caotica, ma una gran bella birra.
