A classic American IPA with a lot of juiciness. Good stuff that took the long trip to Austria pretty well.

Can from The Bottle Shop Bermondsey and drunk on a train. Clear dark gold colour lasting cream head. it's got an old school US ipa aroma. Some toffee malt. Light grapefruit hop aroma. Some toffee in the mouth. Decent hop on the finish. Some bitterness. It grew on me. As I say old school. OK.

Can. Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Dry malts bring dry and mild creamy sweetness, there is also a rawness to the hops. Dry hops, some pith. Spicy orange peel. Litte ripe/bruised orange on the dry finish. It's okay but it's dry and a little raw.

On tap. Pours a slightly hazy gold-orange with a small, creamy, long lasting, white head that laces. Sweet aroma of pale malt, peach, apricot, orange peel and light pine. Sweet flavour of pale malt, peach, apricot, nectarine, grapefruit, orange, caramel and floral with pine resin in a dry, bitter hop finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Not bad.

Hazy amber. Aroma is butter, bonbon, shortbread, also some toffee and of course tropic fruit. Taste is sweet and wheaty malt. A bit harsh and too much. Not bad though.

Can. Cloudy golden, low offwhite lace. Classic cheesy hops, pine, lychee. Crystal malt sort of stickiness despite the ingredients. Medium light body, bitter pine and grass, old school.

Can. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is piney, crystal malts (you sure they're not in here?), resinous, grapefruit. Taste is the same, intensely piney and toasted malts. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Well made old school malty IPA.
